The BETA cohort just wrapped up, leaving behind a trail of transformative stories. Amongst our graduates is Brandy Baxter, a financial counselor and foresight strategist from Dallas, TX, whose story is a shining example of innovation and determination in the world of financial consulting. The spark for Brandy's shift towards building a consultancy was a combination of personal inspiration and recognizing an unmet need in the financial sector. "I’m inspired through enabling people to see a clear pathway to their financial goals through foresight," she says. When Brandy saw that there was a Futurist track to the Permissionless Consultant program, she was intrigued. “I thought it was a great opportunity to connect with Lindsay’s expertise, as well as learn the ins and outs of being a Foresight consultant. All of this language is very unfamiliar to the average person, and so I was really excited to learn how to take what I had learned as an academic experience and make it applicable in an everyday setting.”

A Vision Intersecting Artificial and Human Intelligence
Brandy's vision for her consultancy is both clear and ambitious. "To build a financial foresight consultancy that equips financial professionals to better support their clients," she states. She envisions herself as a leading voice and an inspiration in the field, surrounded by a supportive network of friends, family, and peers. Brandy’s expertise extends into the realm of AI. “I really enjoy dancing in the space between AI (Artificial Intelligence) and now what I'm calling HI (Human Intelligence)”. She sees an ocean of opportunity merging the two concepts - “when we can create an opportunity for the two to come together, we are better able to leverage artificial intelligence without sacrificing the value of human intelligence.”

Brandy's journey in the Permissionless Consultant Accelerator has been one of growth and self-discovery. She comments “I am so sad to see this program come to a wrap because it has been such a great accelerator for helping narrow down my focus. This program was my own foresight strategy experience. Lindsay helped me reframe what I wanted to do, forecast how it would add value to others, and, more importantly, to visualize the end goal.”
Speaking of goals, Brandy has adeptly combined her financial expertise with foresight, preparing herself to make waves in the financial arena.
She describes her Accelerator experience as one that has enabled her to integrate all parts of her life and show up as her fully expressed self. “For me, permissionless means without limits and showing up as you are” she states. This philosophy represents her commitment to forging her own path and leading a new wave of innovation in the financial arena.
It’s been an incredible season for Brandy - her accomplishments throughout the accelerator include being featured in Nerd Wallet, two speaking appearances, and launching her very own paid course!
