What pushes someone to step into the independent consulting arena? For Bhaishmi, it was the pursuit of flexibility, choice, and the passion to empower organizations. “I realized that there were two things I was passionate about. I was unable to give my time to both of them fully,” she says. However, Bhaishmi realized that starting something on her own takes know-how. “I have seen consultants and consultancies rise and fall, and I needed guidance from someone who has been there and done it successfully. That's how I came across Lindsay and the program and was instantly hooked.”

Bhaishmi's inspiration is rooted in her family; to her, this means more time to be fully present for her loved ones and to show up for them fully. Consulting creates a path whereby she can balance both family and work, not having to make trade-offs.

Reflecting on her experience in the accelerator, Bhaishmi shares, “I think my biggest takeaway is knowing what the process (of building a consultancy) is and actually having a process for myself. A lot of people talk about why you need a process, but nobody tells you what the process is or how to go about creating your own process. The program helped me understand both.”
Bhaishmi’s journey is also a testament to her commitment to transformation. “I acquired the ability to transform my limiting beliefs into possibilities—and even strengths. I realized that these are the very things that set me apart from every consultant in the market”. Amongst Bhaishmi’s unique talents is a multi-cultural perspective, including the ability to speak four languages, stemming from her roots in India. This talent enriches her point of view, allowing her to connect and communicate effectively in diverse environments.
For Bhaishmi, permissionless is about freedom. “Permissionless means the freedom to make your own choices, to be who you are and do what you want, to not have to seek anybody's permission, and to live life how you want to live it.”
