Albeit interesting in itself, this trend symbolizes a deeper one we’ve seen manifest over the past decade and some - the blurring of sectors. Another newsworthy example? The number of businesses that have evolved into part time co-working spaces. From restaurants to retail spaces to music studios to athletic clubs, everyone vying for a piece of the co-working pie. At retail properties alone, co-working spaces are predicted to grow by a rate of 25% annually through 2023, according to a report from Jones Lang LaSalle.
